Lithuanians in Canada » Cultural diplomacy »Dear Canadian Lithuanians and friends of Lithuania in Canada,
On 11th of March, 1990 Lithuania returned to the family of independent democratic countries.
Today, 31 years later, on the day of the Restoration of Independence Lithuania can be proud of being a successful member of the international community, member of the EU and NATO family. That signifies the journey we have made – today and every day we are building our State and we bear responsibility for it.
I wish everyone of us to decisively and consciously contribute to the prosperity of Lithuania, creation of our country, which we would be proud of.
Sincerely,
Darius Skusevičius
